I wish that the Mulder/Scully relationship had panned out in the way that it was spoken of in this video clip. Unfortunately, for me, Carter & Co. failed to deliver with these two. That's disappointing because if the relationship had been dealt with properly, and without unnecessary teasing and questions in the last two seasons, and if they were happy, I very well could have been supportive of this relationship, but because of what happened... I am not. Still love this video clip though.

It is the episode "paper heart" from season 4. Same here ! I've been addicted to the x-files since I was 11. In France it first aired in 1994 and I looked at it a year after. I only could see the 9 seasons in English when I was 24 !! And God knows how badly I wanted it !! ;o) I remember going to the Sussex when I was 12 and looking at it on TV.

In fact Scully was the reason I joined medical school, now I'm a doctor, graduated 2 years ago :).....I kept on missing some episodes here and there, owing to the fact that not all episodes were shown in India, in proper order...finally ended up seeing all the episodes in order and I'm 25 :) I'll be watching these episodes as long as I live !!! :)

I love this video. It's amazing that Mulder and Scully have such as relationship that surpasses the physically attractive alone. I would love to be in a relationship built like the one between Mulder and Scully. It's really beautiful that a simple "touch of a hand could be the same as making love in another series", to quote Gillian Anderson. They are more than best friends, yet they also possess qualities unlike that of a typical T.V. romantic relationship. LOVE IT!!!

TV has produced so many on screen couple but none of them was ever as great as Mulder and Scully. It's like they say, there's a chemistry between the actors David and Gillian and if that wasn't there, they could play the most interesting characters and say the sweetest things to each other and it still wouldn't work on TV!

You're absolutely right.From the first episode the feeling was there and it grew n season by season both onscreen and off. That''s why Goren and Eames never got together on Criminal Intent.The writers didn't plant the seeds early on and let the relationship grow and even though D'Onofrio and Erbe are attractive and have a certain chemistry it''s not the right chemistry.If they try to put them together this season just because they're leaving,it's going to look forced.

It's hard to choose just one but in my opinion the very best are the 4, 5, and 6. But then again they are all great.

I would definitely agree with that. 4,5, and 6 are the ones that I find myself re-watching the most. There are, however, classic episodes in every season. That's why I finally managed to buy them all. I don't want to even think about how much that has cost me over the years.

Yes, the one where in the beginning Scully is getting dressed in the bathroom in the middle of the night and leaving Mulder's apartment, leaving him sleeping naked in the bed. If you listen to the director (Gillian Anderson's) commentary on the DVD, she says that this was the episode where they actually spent their first night together.

Oh and sorry, I actually meant to reply to the comment ABOVE yours, to someone who said they slept together in season 8.
