Few music scores can tell a story without lyrics. As a personal opinion I liked Icewind Dale more than BG, BG has a better story, but Icewind Dale was beautifull.

@1EeSoo Try Dragon Age and The Witcher. While they aren't as good as IWD or BG, they are definitely a couple of the much better RPGs these days.

Excellent storytelling mellody, man Icewind Dale is so great. Baldur's Gate is better in plot yes. But Icewind Dale dungeons as Severed Hand won me...

o the severed hand drove me insane!! i couldnt get across when that crazy guy blew up the passing bit, so gave up and went back to baldurs gate

The intro to IWD really helped to set the tone for that whole game. You won't get much story from actually playing the game, but goddamn that intro increased my immersion and engagement ten fold. One of the few games where I won't skip the opening cinematic.
