PageMonster. I didn't say it was a freak show, just pointed out that a hundred years ago, or less it would have been. I watched and enjoyed the show and appreciated the writing and humour. Surely though it invites the curious, the rubber neckers, viewers watching not just for the story but to watch such a strange group of individuals in one place ? Call it what you will but that's exactly what a "Freak show" did, didn't it ? I just question the production company's motivation? And why 11.00 Pm!?

It's NOT a freak show - it was written BY Disabled people. Is it beyond your comprehension that we Disabled people could write such a thing, using our own knowledge? Such ignorance does you a disservice.

Refreshing drama or just a freak show ? I'm not not sure if this isn't more about pushing up ratings with a new kind of rubber necking TV or pushing boundaries using disabled actors ?? If these people were putting on a play on village greens around the country a hundred years ago, surely that would be a "freak show", so what's changed ? Looks like a great production though and I'll be tuning in.
