Hi tony2566, I was stationed at MCAS Futenma from 1988 to 1989, it is such a beautiful island. This slideshow brings back lots of sweet memories. BTW, what is the name of this lovely Japanese song ? Thank You for sharing such great vidoes.
CplWu, thank you for the comments. I first went to the Futenma festival back in 89. I was stationed at Foster back then. The song in question is called "Kaze-no you-ni", which (according to my wife) means "Like a Wind". It's sung by Shakari, an Okinawan singer from Chatan, Okinawa. Shakari used to sing with DIAMANTES, but is now solo. I looked on the net and found that she released a new album in 2007. Hope this helps.
