  • Great ! Any chance of getting a WAV/320kMP3 to join my iTunes music library ? :-)

  • how is the action compared to other digital pianos with weighted keys?

  • wwoooww

  • WHaahhw!!! the efffect wah wah is great! Very good bro- i love Nord Stage 88!

  • omg how do you do it

  • Michael Jackson tribute on Fender Rhodes - check it out on my site, thanks!

  • Great fast running riffs, but doesn't sound like a rhodes...

  • It's a Rhodes-sound with an autowah-effect. I think I added a phaser-effect as well. The sound is from the Nord Stage.

    Glad you enjoyed it.

    Kay Ronny

  • does the nord stage have the same rhodes sounds as the electro 2? and is there some parameters to adjust the bell character in the electro or stage? thanks

  • blooz!!!!

  • Omg i think i like that NORD.

    cool funky riff!

  • The sound isn't from the Nord Stage. He uses the Nord Stage only as masterkeyboard.

  • Cool and very funky sound! Nord Stage ftw :)

Check out me and my band, with bass, drum, guitar and rhodes-solo by me;)

  • wheres the groove, and use a wah pedal instead of an auto wah

  • Well said wig !

  • lol that doesn't sound anything like a rhodes. its a digital keyboard.

  • hey CHeck out this classic song" look up BILLY PRESTON "Spaced out " you 'll hear the best clavinet sound . he was one funky MF.. check it.

I think he used a WA WA pedal on that one.

  • Great tune...It's called Outta Space

    watch?v=podVGuZS6g8

  • really cool!! Great licks, very nice chords.. But watch your timing, the feel is good, but you can sometimes better stop and speed up your tempo, then you do it while playing. But compliments!!

  • Very good!!

  • ı want also top view this arrangement

  • Vey nice. I prefer the parts where you play slower, because you can feel the 'funk'. I always like to play quick as well, looks like you're good, but the funk gets in when you play it more laid back.

    great video

  • I want the TOP VIEW of this arrangement

  • Allright guys. The 10 thousand-bargain is reached, so I'll post a new video here in a couple of days called "Piano Toto-medley" where I play a lot of famous Toto-tunes with the piano. Toto have made a lot of cool piano-grooves, so hopefully you'll enjoy them!

    Take care!

  • i will give it my funkdiddlyumptious stamp.

  • Great!

  • a little bit too much

  • theres never too much funk

  • I think sheet music will be tough to come by but can anybody tell me what he/she is playing. (Lame pleas, i'm no expert except technical playing)

  • Can anybody help me to sheet music of this

Please!!!!! help me!!!!! I can only play classical and want to go on a nother direction but things like this I can not "hear" so i can not reproduce (not even if played on a regular piano) HELP!!!!

  • I want to build a funky Rhodes to nowhere too, except I wanna' make it out of copper wire thread, bobbins, and stuff. Playing my Hammond s6 needs a good friend, tonewheels have bugged me out 3 years ago, it's electronic... seriously, anyone ever build a Fender Rhodes?

  • i love the wah on it... do you want to do some shit together? a collab track? we can just send stuff back and forth. check my chan, and see if you would be interested.

  • rhodes????

  • cualquier onda compadre, muy bueno....

  • Loved it! More please!! Ive already pinched this and jammed with a drummer. Chords: Bb Eb Bb F#(9) F(9) Bb.

  • A friend of my owns a Nord Stage 88..

He uses it as a great synth in one band and in a The Doors coverband (and he produces his own elektro style songs).

This is the best thing I've ever heard.. really..

But hey.. the MIPA international jury give it the "Best Stage Piano"-award this year.. and that has a reason.. 'cause it's really great..

  • muito bom

  • Hi.... Guys! Iæll probably shoot a video with the Nord Stage-grand piano sound, Yamahasound and then the Rolandsound for instance, and then you'll hear for yourself. The grand pianosound in Clavia's instruments are surely not the best in the class... Haven't heard anything that bad really.

  • WTF! The piano sounds in Clavia's instruments are the best ever made in a digital piano! In comparison to other digital piano's, Clavia's sounds are 'living', and piano sounds from e.g. Yamaha or Roland are mostly just in higher and lower registers realistic. You don't hear any string resonance either (except some Yamaha-sounds). How could Clavia's sounds be not realistic when they are sampled from real piano's? ;) Maybe you don't know how a real piano sounds...?

  • muy bueno

  • very funky. Loved that "chameleon - bass"!

  • can I have the chord sequence? I can't get over this.

  • SO COOL!

  • not bad

  • That is phenominal playing. Post some more please!

  • Can you do a vid demonstrating the acoustic piano sounds. I've only heard them on the clavia website, which can be deceiving: The nord elctro 2 sounds nothing like the site (saving the organ). I heard one other vid w/Henry Butler playing an a. piano patch & it sound completely authentic but the quality of that vid isn't the best. Btw great vid.

  • Hi! You mean the pianosound of the Nord Stage? It's real crap. I never use it. I only use the pianosound from my Motif ES rack or the Fantom XR.

  • are you kidding. its the best pianosound ever on a stage-piano. maybe you are not playing good enough. it won the award best stage piano 2007

  • The pianosound on Nord Stage is real bad compared to other pianosound as the one on the Motif- Kurzweil- and Roland-synths... Try them, and you'll agree.

If you want to discuss piano sounds by the way, use a piano-forum please.

  • That's your opinion. We all like different kind of sounds. Maybe those roland/motif/kurzweil-synths sound perfect, but in a way a real piano never would. Maybe thats what you want. But if you want realism, go for Clavia. Everything else I've tried have felt very uninspiring. I hate the way everyone talks about those plastic, slick grand piano sounds. They sound synthetic! Blah! You're totally wrong and your opinion sucks. :-)

  • great! it`s hard to get the left hand really good.. can you make other examples, so I can practice..

  • i luv that riff can you rite it down simply plz or at least a ruff guide plz. this keyboard sic man must of cost you a fair bit. plz com on my shit vid there will be more in the series later but plz feel free to say anythin about it

  • Hi! I'm just fooling around with the Bb pentatonic scale really. So that's quite simple, but the thing is the rhythm. Try and listen to when I'm playing slow and then try it yourself. Remember; practice makes perfect! And don't try out with a pianosound, practice with a rhodessound or perhaps a clavsound, maybe with some crunchy wah-wah-effect or something. That'll make you a funkbrother!
