  • very nice singing. Along with these pictures if the photo of Mahaperiyaval Sri Chandrasekara saraswathi swamigal, 68th peetadhipathi of Adhi Sankara's moolaamnaya matam at Kanchipuram, which is also called Kanchi Kamakoti peetam is included, it must have been very nice. This is my humble suggestion. If possible please include atleast now.

  • scientifically coming to light all these....read books about quantum physics u will realise what is it talking about...read one soul many lives, one life several masters etcbooks if u could ...The purpose of life and the full science behind it..What is God in scientific terms.....

  • Not at all.itz being the God Himself or attaining it..the full..the perfect..the Brahma...There is no concept of Heaven in Hinduism where God after creation sits, nor it talks about the world we reach if we done this and that...good or bad,,,In Hinduism there is only karma and result of it...

  • The final quote: "I am faced with my beloved (Krishna) and my Guru, to whom do I bow first? I bow to my Guru who took me to my beloved"..this is a Meera Bhajan..not from Kabir.....very beautiful

  • salute to ved gyni, guru paduka, guru astank racheta shree adi shankaracharya

  • salute to ved gyni shree adi shankaracharya

  • ADI SHANKANRACHAYA HAS GIVEN GOLDEN GIFT TO MANKIND

  • absolutely beautiful. thank you for sharing :)

  • So peaceful and pleasant .soothing to mind &soul

  • Great..no words to explain the feelings!!!!

  • खुद को साधू कहलाते हो ,

    फिर स्म्लेगिकता को किउँ छिपाते हो ॲ

  • This in not Adishankara's composition. This is composed by the 33rd pontiff of Sringeri, Sri Sri Sacchidananda Shivabhinava Nrisimhabharati Swamiji. check out in Sringerinweb site

  • Beautiful rendition. Would be good to separate sadguru's from yogacharya's in the videos. The words of this song pertain to a sadguru, the highest form of guru. Utmost respect and admiration for Baba Ramdev, but he is not quite a sadguru but a yogacharya and hence not appropriate to have him in the pictures.

  • thanks for the great stotra. i wish the names of gurus shown is indicated with the photographs

  • Hello, could someone give me a link to the picture in 0:52 please?

  • I wonder if Nirvana in Indian religions is a place to souls go when people die like Heaven for Christians?

  • @newgirlalfa In Hinduism, Heaven or Hell are just preliminary ideas. We believe that even if you r in heaven, u r still not free because u r still bound by time and causation. When one attains Nirvana,he becomes one with 'God'. The soul is no longer bounded by time space or causation and is beyond all relativity.

    Then alone can death cease when I am alone with life, then alone can misery cease when I am one with happiness itself, then alone can all errors cease when I am one with knowledge itself;

  • @nikhilnrao Thanks for your help and information.

  • @newgirlalfa it is not a place like the Christians, but a STATE OF CONSCIOUSNESS!!!

  • @newgirlalfa

First of all there is nothing like a 'religion' in India. We only have a 'Dharma' which actually translates to 'Law' or 'Duty'. So 'Sanatan Dharma' would actually mean 'eternal Law' or 'eternal duty'.

    Nirvana means "realizing the self".

Death is a fiction, it never happens because that which dies is only a tool of the mind/ego.

The real 'self' has never known death because it was never born.

  • @newgirlalfa You may say so but not exactly. With the level of Bhakti/Devotion, the soul gets purer and purer. A purer soul would find a place in the astral world which is similar to Heaven. Heaven might not be permanent abode for soul and the journey of purification continues. When the soul has no trace of any worldly karmas attached, then it becomes pure energy with no shape or quality and merges into the pure comic energy. The meeting/yoga of Soul with the Pure Cosmic Energy is Nirvana.

  • @newgirlalfa In Indian religion, heaven is the place one goes after death to enjoy the results of virtuous acts one has done. Heaven is the place of only enjoyment, when the results exhausts, he will have to come back to earth as man. Same is for Hell with wicked acts. But our religion says, a perfected human goes to Bramha loka ( Nirvana in Budhism, Salvation in English ) from where one will not come back and in this place one will be as capable as lord himself.

  • @newgirlalfa: Good question! The answer is: No. "Heaven" is a place where you go to get rewarded for good deeds. But Hindus argue that finite causes can only have finite effects. Since human life and all human actions are finite, their result can never last for an infinite time. Hence the Hindu idea of Heaven (called Svarga) is something like being born on a different plane of existence, enjoying all the comforts you can imagine, living happily for a very very long time - but NOT forever!

  • Nirvana is complete dissolution - like a wave merging back into the Ocean. You lose your small "I" (i.e. "I am Mr./Ms. So-and-so) and gain the Infinite "I" of God. Just as a wave is never separate from the ocean - it rises from the ocean, lives in the ocean, and finally subsides into the ocean - similarly, you are never entirely separate from God. Nirvana is when you realize this non-separatedness, and merge back into your original identity: God.

  • Kudz, simply blissful ! May GOD bless you & shower you with profuse love !

  • Hi could you please tell me is it guru paduka "bhyam" or guru paduka "bhyaam" while pronouncing it

    thank u so much

  • @Puffin9090 Hello, I think it is bhyaam. maybe when its sung, it gets shortend or elongated based on the meter and to synchronize with the rhythm,

  • @kudz13 I think "bhyaam" is correct.Paadukaabhyaam means "to the two sandals".

In Sanskrit, there is a seperate Grammatical number form for Dual(Dviteeya) as English has a form for Singular and Plural) . "Paadukaa" (a feminine noun) when its "declined" it becomes "Paadukaabhyaam" in dual number in the 3,4,5 cases(Vibhakthis).

I hope I did not confuse too much.

Correct me if I am wrong

    Thanks for uploading

  • @Puffin9090 it is "bhyaam"...if u want the grammatical explanation, it arises from the vibhaktis...it is akaaranta pullinga truteeya vibhakti dvivachanam.....example....Ramabhyaam which means "from Rama"

  • @Puffin9090

paduka "bhyaam" = to the feet is correct

  • Really very great
