  • an 86 cj7 should if its still factory have a amc 20 rear end unless some one changed it but if you get a one piece flaged axle kit the will be as strong as a dana 44

  • @Mmurray131 no mid year they ran out of AMC 20 rear axles and switched over to dana 44 to finish out the year. i know because i own a 86 that has a stock dana 44

  • I'm 17 and recently bought an '86 CJ7. I'm nowhere near as good as this guy but mine's got the detroit lockers and 12 bolt diffs and the dana 35 axles and all that on it and even though I'm not good enough to go to places like this yet I have no doubt it would do it.

  • Fuck no, CJ or nothing.

  • @olegign81 By the way this is kind of old comment (two weeks haha), I figured I would mention Jeep is suppose to be making another Jeep pickup in the near future. And oh boy am I looking forward to seeing the result :D!

  • made that look easy.

  • @olegign81 What about the new JK or an older model J-series truck.?

  • AMC man I love it.

  • lol @ 0:37, i wonder how the driver felt...

  • @BarretorIntervention I didn't realize the tire was lifted so high, I could just see up, and just wanted to keep a nice even momentum forward and not go faster or stop.

  • nice rig.

  • I believe that the newer Jeeps, are pussy whipped. They all suck. I had a YJ and now I have picked up a 1960 Willys CJ5, the ride is beautiful. I love it.

  • @ Gadmeer wat about the cjs man

  • 4 door jk wrangler is just a joke it has no power. the jk stands for just kidding.

  • jeeps are for cheerleaders toyota all the way

  • @axl693 yeeah? just remember your still driving a jap pos. we drive american legends.

  • some driving skill.

  • like a boss!!!

  • like its no prob at all

  • Let's see all the wanna-be bro's in their crappy lifted trucks compare to this

  • front lockers ftw

  • CJ7=BMF

  • good save.

  • nice job.

  • Screw jeep! you need a yoter!!!

  • that cjs fucking bad

  • Haha, when in doubt, GUN IT!!

  • I gotta get me TJ out there, it keeps bugging me so I keep doing upgrades so it will shut up.

  • sketchynessism

  • sami??? give me a break. they are little Japanese farts.

While they can be made into good offroad rigs they can never be better then a Jeep.

  • True true

  • my balls are bigger then your balls not my balls are bigger then your balls get over it

  • When climbing in a manual, lets say you stop, and you want to keep going, what prevents you from rolling back wards right before your plates engage?

  • keep a foot on the brake slightly.. many people put a "finger throttle" on their gear selector so that they can work the throttle with their 1 hand while having a foot on the clutch and a foot on the brake

  • x2, a I used a kit, but all of the parts can be bought at a bike store for under $20. I put it on my YJ, and it works great.

  • @DallasStars248 Use the emergency brake. engage it, let clutch out until it almost engages or starts to, diengage emergency brake and give er gas

  • what size lift is that. yea i got a cj7 and yea there bad ass

  • i thought CJ'S had square headlights?

  • @jdster199

    only YJ have the squares.

  • @damwmnm oo so YJ's are from the 90's CJ are from the 8'0s

  • Yep YJs were from 8795. I've got an 87.

CJs are bad ass though. If I were going to trade it'd be for a CJ-7

  • CJ-8 and CJ-5's are my favs. CJ-5 is WAY more manuverable.

  • No, those are the YJ jeeps...

  • Nice hill climbing...nothing beats a CJ 7...except maybe a CJ 8...

For one thing you can work on them without being a computer geek. Parts are cheap and old is cooler then new.

@ColoradoJK1, you would be amazed at what can be done with leaf springs...

  • TJs and JKs are soft -- barbie interior, slinky suspension. JK's are even worse than TJs -- designed for obese Americans. And worst of all thing they were originated by some $hit-hole, borderline-bankrupt abomination called Daimler Chrysler. Actually, in the case of Chrysler circa '97-09 make that treading water, then entirely bankrupt. Frankly, if my kids saw me driving a TJ or JK they'd shoot their Dad for being such a low IQ wuss. Buy a CJ or buy a YJ and put a CJ grill on it.

  • hm sounds like you are just jealous you don't have a jk or uninformed. sorry chief, but i have owned a zj, 2 yj's, a tj, and now a jk. and honestly the jk is hands down a more capable jeep. the cj is a cool jeep but doesn't even compare to a jk right out of the box! the lower center of gravity after modifications is such a huge advantage. (the jk can run 35's with 3 inches of lift) and leaf springs are outdated for offroad unless you carry heavy loads.

  • muy bien manejado loko e muy bien estas cabron

  • wow, very well executed.

  • Nicely done.

  • can't get enough of these videos

  • dude i would have been shitting my pants when those front wheels were lifting

  • loralee347 YOU ARE A DOUCH!! The Jeep is not as good as you make it, but as good as the driver is. I bet my Rusted out POS YJ will go anywhere, and everywhere your TJ will go! Dick.

  • Scary moment when the front end lifted off the ground, great driving !

  • OK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! perfect

  • perfecto!Nice work!

  • A+ good driving

  • nice

  • No spotter? That is very impressive!

  • WOW. Nice work.....nice tires.

  • smashing video! 5 stars

  • AMAZING CJ 0||||0

  • Nice climb! I had my right front tire off of the ground too - about where you did. What a rush!!!

  • nice job, long live the CJ

  • -.^

  • great job;Happy Easter to ALL JEEPERS.Enjoy Moab for me this weekend!!

  • gotta respect the CJ, I have a TJ Rubi the only wrangler i dont like is the YJ body

  • so what the hell is the deal with the fucked up lookin TJ Ill put my YJ up beside your TJ any day

  • Lol a TJ. YJ are the last of the true Jeeps...

  • Umm... this is a CJ?!?!?! And if YJs are the "last true Jeeps", then why are they the only Wranglers with square headlights? TJs can go anywhere a YJ can, and sometimes more depending on the driver.

  • you are a jealous piece of shit. my old 1989 jeep wrangler yj is the strongest and most reliable vehicle i have ever driven, and i have driven tj, jk, and cj jeeps

  • first off im a i have an unbiased opinion because i own niether. I have just seen both on the trail and the tj is flat out a better jeep. Yj has a weak frame, lame leafs all the way around which ride like shit and off less flex. Not mention a tj came with options for danna 44. Tj has coils for better ride, flex and better approach angles. Not to mention the yj auto trannys are pure junk. How in the fuck do you figure a yj is better than a tj or jk. not my fault you cant afford a better jeep

  • my yj is a standard, has dana 60 axles and has a very smooth ride. and the carbureted 4.2L 258 I-6 engine is the most reliable engine in the world next to the ford 300 i-6.

  • First off no one runs the ford inline. Any early bronco owner runs a 302 or 351

  • fuck you, i am done arguing like a little girl.

  • You can't argue with someone running a cold air intake, coil spacers, and catback exhaust. Way too hardcore. You know, talking out of the ass and all with no first hand experience.

  • Yeah, that kid doesn't know shit...

Makes me and other XJ owners (well, I'm a "former" XJ owner) look like douche bags. LOL Not to mention his interests... "Racing Mustangs, 4 wheeling and did i say Mustangs"... Sounds pretty typical for an ignorant, West coast teenager (no way he's 21 as his profile says).

  • LOL I don't think he realizes his XJ has leaves in the rear.

  • Sounds like you have no clue what you're talking about.

The auto trannies for both YJs and TJs are the same. The frame is basically identical. The coils don't provide "better approach angles" other than the fact that it gets rid of the shackles hanging off the front bumper.

YJs and all the CJs that came before it used LEAF SPRINGS. As a matter of fact, Jeep made it's NAME off of vehicles that used leaf springs. Stop being a dumb little bitch.

  • YJ's are perfectly fine Jeeps and can hold up to a TJ or a JK no problem. You must not have much experience behind the wheel.

  • YJ? The cj's were the last of the real jeeps. As soon as chrysler bought them, they went to shit.

  • @caniwitech Im pretty sure a lot of people would disagree with you on that one

  • @grahamzandah Your right, but alot of people WANT a car like jeep. I simply said that a real jeep hasn't been built since '86.

  • @caniwitech Please define "real Jeep"

  • @grahamzandah An empassis towars off road abaility, rather than pavement manners. Chrysler's intent for the yj was to make it lower, softer, have a more car-like interior, and to handle more like a car. They succeeded in that. Gone was the 304 v8, in was the 2.5 4 banger, gone were the decent front ends, in were the horrible dana 30. ANd then simply from a personal opinion, the square headlamps are aweful!

  • @caniwitech Well that being said, a Jeep is still a Jeep no matter the manufacturer. Even though Chrysler did take away some beneficial features for off roading that were present in the CJ all Jeeps are still beasts and perform well off road.

  • @Gadmeer i dont know the some jk builds are sick and are just as capable they are just for the more....wealthy people

  • @Gadmeer are you kidding? I hope you are because everyone knows CJ's were the last of the real Jeeps.

  • @ultimatehunter101 Name one reason why a CJ is the last of the real jeeps!

  • @BiohazardDingleberry They are BA I have a CJ 7 and a JK so i'm not going to complain. Its just one of those things that you say

  • @Gadmeer ..yj last of the true jeeps how about you try they are still making real jeeps electronic f/r lockers electric disconnecting sway bars 31" bfg m/t's stock. dont kid yourself.

  • @Gadmeer Yjs blow lol...

  • @Gadmeer

    this is a CJ

  • @Gadmeer you misspelled CJ7 :)

  • @brockb24 No I am referring to the last of the AMC Jeeps, The Jeep YJ had the last of the AMC engine for Jeep. And you probably mean CJ5 ;)

  • Nice job going up there. I got a 76' myself, about the same mods looked like you had. Nice wheeling there.

  • jeep cj club 4 life

  • TO (1patrol1) If you are serios you are right, but if you keep that atitude. It wont be long intel I see you on You Tube. I bet you jeep beter than most.

  • jeeps are the best

  • cool vid

  • I crashed my jeep on this... it wasnt' good.

  • nice driving ...seen so many flops on that same line

  • wow, great driving, got so close to flipping...

  • bad ass

  • that takes lots of skill right there

  • great driving

  • 1 good driver + 1 good jeep = 1 good video

  • Man good job not flipping it at :35, very impressive.

  • pro driving right there, didnt even use a spotter, was introuble but never let off the gas... grade A

  • Awesome, makes me wish I still had mine. Nice on stayin out of the gas, coulda got rough.

  • excelent!!!

  • awesome rig

  • dang good job

  • Throw something heavy & hard at the dorks who walk in front of the camera.
