In order to live "in peace", should British and American sons not have gone into battle to fight German and Japanese sons in the 1940s (or Baathist sons in 2003)?
Thereby allowing the German sons and the Japanese sons (ie, Nazis and Imperialists) to continue the murder of innocent, unarmed sons (and daughters) of civilians in the countries they occupied? How 'bout the Baathists' sons taking Iraq civilians to Saddam's killing fields?
That may not be the peace we want, ladies (and gents)...
