Its so surprising to see that hardly any girl wears the headscarf, yet here in the UK influenced by militant wahabism, nearly every muslim woman wears a head scarf or burka so alien to South Asian Culture. And FYI there are probably just as many McDonald’s on every block in Pakistan as there are in the U.S. Also do realize that English is a second language for many people. I am sure if you were speaking a second language or for that matter multiple languages (like most Pakistanis do) you could easily confuse hotel with restaurant.

my overall experience was very good at the airport, parking wasnt a big issue and the airport staff was friendly but cause i went on emirates i had to check in right at the side of the building however it doesnt take long from check in to departure gate which i like about this airport, also i did get conned for a phone card 1600 rupees for a phone card buh still i tink its sum individuals which are messed in the head.

International departure and arrivals is much better than domestic side shown here which includes duty free shops. Allama Iqbal airport, Lahore is even prettier than Karachi. I think these airports are the best in this region. Lets see what happens when under construction new Islamabad airport will be ready and supposed to be the finest than the rest.

One of the Worst Airports i have ever been to. Too narrowed, too much corruption as i saw first hand People bribing police, airport staff and other passengers for their tickets and luggage. Am sorry but when your actually at the Airport its a different scenario. Too much corruption and bribery at that airport. Even parking is a issue as whoever pays the most gets a chance to park up. You also cannot take any sweets or sodas in luggage unless your white. I found Islamabad to be more civlised!.

Tell me wher in the world one is allowed to carry on drinks or foods onto a plane in your hand luggage. Sure there is room for improvement but Karachi airport is a great deal better than most airports in developing nations. As for the corruption, I find that the people who claim corruption are often the most corrupt themselves since they insist on special treatment and they themselves are always trying to rip off the system!
