  • Well done, Nigel. There is no substitute for great materials and great workmanship.

As to synthpathetic's question, you need to be stubborn to learn to play one of these. They typically have the same scale length as a full size guitar, but are tuned (mostly) in fifths. I would guess this one is tuned GDAD.

  • I fell in love with the sound of this instrument^^ I've ordered the book you wrote, very interested to see what's in it, see if there's any usefull things for my own instruments:) Cheers from the Netherlands!

  • Great sound

  • Phenomenal sustain, sounds wonderful, looks beautiful. Well done!

  • it's beautiful, and sounds even better (I don't know how....). I want one. :D

  • That's some crazy sustain! Sounds beautiful.

  • How cool, It's so cool that you were able to incorporate the Larson brothers "built under tension" style and give it such a great modern look.

  • HI

What tuning have you got that in?

It does sound rather good. !!!

  • looks well

  • Pretty stuning! love the way the sustain lasts for days while the harmonics dance together..

  • Fantastic..i will email this video to all my acustic guitarists friends.I am Horea Crisovan-MANNE guitars endorser and artist...Jesus!!! So many waves of sustain

  • sounds pretty good. Wonder how much that one costs

  • That sounds Sweet bonney lad!

  • That is one gorgeous sounding bouzouki. Thanks for posting and well done for building it!

  • I don't know much about how a good guitar sounds cause I play the saz/baglama.

I do hear that this guitar has a good open sound, with lots of sustain.

Italian spruce is supposed to be the best because of its high stiffness, but low weight.

  • wow that sounds amazing!!! nice work!!!

  • wonderful work!

    peace

  • Very nice build. Sounds amazing, incredible sustain- even through y-tube.

  • I love the curved top, and the clean look of the back with no binding!

  • Awesome, but that's what you expect from one of Nigel's builds. Hell, I love my 12 fret model C.

  • Amazing. I love how it looks and how it sounds - better than a Sobell!

  • Ultra-elegant, tasteful appearance and a powerful sound. Very desirable, Nigel...

  • It really sings that instrument!! So loud and I like how clean you've built it.

    Great!!
