@bulldogsforeva standard at address but to get the correct impact and strike your weight must be in front of the ball at contact....strike down my man..then good things happen
@stationsports1 Hey young man sorry i haven't messaged you for a while in currently in Los Angeles and i've been very busy...hows the game going??dave
@iGolftv i understand anyway its better than ever ive got my handicap down to 38.8 because i played in a stableford comp got 39 points.the pro at my club said he will help me when i get better because he can see what im doing wrong.
Does this work with all irons into the green? If so is the ball positioning the same for all clubs? I'm slowly knocking shots off but I think the next step is stopping the ball as I land where I want to but then bounce through leaving myself longer putts than I'd like! Cheers mate
@TheJimcasey123 Hey jim Go to i golf tv .com and search for ball position, here i show where to position the ball in your stance, also yes you can stop the ball with all clubs but you will only really get backspin with the shorter iron and when the greens are soft or receptive. cheers dm
@Lanthanotus Hey Lanthanotus we have been super busy recording season 3 so apologies for the late reply.. Thanks for the shout out and finally.. and this isnt meant to be a hard sell, but because i receive thousands of messages emails & video reply's i've just put together a 12 week training series that shows the drills and tips the PGA Tour Players use and will have to shooting your best ever scores in under 12 weeks, see more at our site igolftv com
@Repete255 I'm actually hitting those shots full height, so yeah kinda high, but on the whole i prefer to see players work on controlling there ball flight with the wedges.

Video 1 Golt Tips tv: Control Trajectory like Tiger Woods
Spin is all about good impact and hitting it clean. Your hands MUST LEAD the CLUB at IMPACT if you want the ball to dance on the green. Ball compression is a major factor along with clean grooves (absolute) no matter the club. A major consideration must also be taken into account about the ball you play. Softer balls (ProV1, Nike 20XI) generate loads of spin and allow more of the cover to fill the grooves to make it "bite". Harder balls spin very very little .
Found 3 things today to make me a better golfer!!
1. Tiger Woods slow motion golf swing video
2. GrooveSharpener. com---golf tool for more backspin
3. And now this video

The reason we want backspin is because otherwise (for me) it tends to bouce across and past the green -.- good video though! :)

@jjhprobert Did you try this yet??
iGolftv 6 months ago
@iGolftv Yes, it doesn't backspin that much. Still bonces a lot but not as much! Also i got a chip in for once! So it helps me to improve anyway! :)
