What I do is actually to have a duplicate coin hidden in my shoe already. As I do the french drop and divert the audiences attention to my hand, I put it in my pocket at the same time as I reveal it's not in my other hand. I then show both my hands empty and reach down in my shoe. It works best.

@Busher50 Make sure that both coins are manufactured the same year (and that you show that to the audience). It can be tricky yet if you use someone elses coin...

@TheDevandre It's magic! lol j/k. He uses the "french drop", you hold the coin with all ur fingertips and when ur other hand comes to grab it (fingers covering it), you release ur thumb and it drops down into your fingers. Search for videos on it, you'll find it, it's the most basic vanish etc. Then you can get into the harder ones, like the Harada Hold, and other really convincing ones. I'll have to think of the guy's name, but he has a video it's amazing (EASY trick)
