All the shrine does is: 1. the little guy turns red later in the game, somehow the flower turns him red? Check when you're in the area later in the game. 2. One of the commands(check I think) gives you a hint from the shrine that Saladron always chooses scissors or something like that. That's all its used for.

Hudson also made, lessee, ADVENTURE ISLAND maybe? There's a Hudson bee logo hidden in this game as well :) I did NOT ever notice the missing 'the' in the title screen tho! Good eyes sir!

I remember buying this game from the video game exchange with battle chess like hmmm 20 years ago hahaha, and when I got home and started playing it I was like damn it stupid text game, I wanted it to be like link and zelda rpg style, anyways yeah it actually did turn out to be a cool game if you like to write down lots of clues and solve things, now that I'm in my later 20s, I would love to go back and try to play crap like this, because it was hard to figure out as a kid.
