However, so have the Israelis. They returned S. Lebanon, and got rocket attacks from Hezbollah. They returned Gaza and got rocket attacks from Hamas. Every violent act by a Palestinian hurts their cause more than it does Israel.

I believe Israel should quit the W. Bank and Gaza entirely, but they will never do so as long as Palestinian terror continues.

Henry O I thank you for your honesty and humility. I too am saddened by religious or political leaders who propagate hate and violence. I appreciate the dilemma faced by Israelis - your examples of S Lebanon and Gaza. However, sadly this may be too little too late. The Palestinian population is so young and has experienced so much pain and so little support or guidance that conflict seems inevitable for more generations.
