  • I doubt that it is insulated well enough for a sturdy winter, but my first thought was the same as another commenter ... 2 of these in an L with south facing windows & surrounded in straw bale would make nice solar gain winters.

  • how do you get insulated containers???

  • WOW great Job! Did you use insulation?

  • @bikertitch Yes we fully insulated it and it is extremely comfortable in the summer.

  • sweet we have 2 x40 footers just for storage now what did you do for the interior walls?

  • but what about Thunder

  • @7JDH7NL7 but the doesn't the lightning comes first

  • 20,000

  • How much would that cost? to buy

  • woooow how much did it cost for everything?!

  • Coming along real nice

  • Whats the price for one of these homes?

    Very Very Nice.

I would want a double wide version.

  • @CMLovejoy That one went for 25, but only because it was a special request(. It had a lot of small things that you/ we would never really require. Otherwise around 17 - 21, depending on what is needed.

  • Did you frame the interior and put up drywall? Or what did you do for interior walls? Is that an insulated reefer? I heard those have flat interior walls already.

  • great job,im sure sure you could always add on,I look at all the interest I give the bank on my house kind of makes me sick....

  • Yes your right, this one is a single person miners donga.

  • NICE! this looks like a one indivisual living space.

  • Would you mind giving me the dimensions of the bunk bed, and the T&B? I'm working on our major plate and I badly need help. Thanks. :)

  • What a superb conversion.

I take it this is in the tropics somewhere?

  • @coldharvest Sunshine Coast Australia

  • like my last flat in london!!! is great lol

  • i bet tv and cell phone reception SUCKS lol.

But yes I would snap 2 or three together like this

    =|

  • looks like a bunker.... this might be ok for occasional use, but not extended stays.

  • I could see making a nice little home out of three or four of these. I would put them together and then straw-bale and plaster the outside.

  • @bookhound63 No need for straw -bale. Just use insulated containers.

  • Thank God for the seperate shower and it is tiled. It is a cute set-up. The only thing missing is a sitting area. Though I suppose a little larger container would allow for that. Nice job.

  • Awesome video, this unit has so many uses!!! I would love to own one of these.
