In Disc 2 when Tifa goes into acoma she explains the events up to when Sephiroth went mad was 7 years ago Cloud always thought it was 5 because of what Hojo did to him he was confused but not enough to know who Zack is until he faints at Midgar

No. Tifa never says 7 years...it had been only 5 years at the time Tifa explains. The beginning of Crisis Core is 7 years before FF7 game. There's a 2 year time lapse between Angeal's death and the scene where Zack says to Cloud "So you want to be a SOLDIER, huh? Hang in there." The scene doesn't do a very good job explaining that, but they do show that Zack's facial scar has healed and that his hair is much longer. It's understood that the two years have passed.

This is about 7 years before FF7 so he's still very, very young here. Hence why his hair is short.

Actually, in the end of the game it`s 2 years before Advent Children. So Tseng isn`t "very, very young".

I know, but this is set way before the game itself...otherwise Zack would be dead. T.T This end of the game is 5 years before FFVII.
