Romney's plan sucked to fix education. Better pay for better teachers and scholarships. Sounds nice I know,but the amount of money it would cost is insane. High standards wont work. And how are we going to get parents who are busy at work involved? To fix it install a national voucher system to make it so if a teens unhappy they an go where happier. Have wage reform to make it only people with a high school education will being giving minimum wage rights to encourage people graduating.

GOD, which in itself is a Judeo-Christian reference, has no business in public schools. If you want your kids to know God, take them to church or temple or mosque or whatever. I don't see why kids should learn about God in school, why not teach them about buddah, bahl, mohammed or apollo? Why stop with one view? Why bring up that subject at all??

the document referencing a "creator" is the declaration of independence. maybe you should read before assuming something incorrect.

Am I interpreting what Huckabee is saying correctly:1)NO federal government interference with the state's education system, but he would have no problem with forcing other states to adapting his states school policies.like allowing illegal aliens to attend tax payer paid schools.

2)If I am borred in school and want to smoke a joint or drink a beer to make it more interesting that the federal government under Huckabee's approach would allow me to do so as long as I stay in school and have fun.
