Hi Anthony, thanks for showing my conversion on your show! The difference between NTSC and PAL is not THAT big. The music will run 20% faster (60Hz vs. 50Hz), You will not get a static background, but actually a scrolling one (due to less CPU cycles per screen-refresh, i.e. 1MHZ processor for both PAL and NTSC). And the stuttering is hardly noticeable, since running at that speed will get you killed anyhow ;-)

Wait, I remember my C64 using cassettes and not cartridges. I think you might need some add-on unless there is some version that uses cartridges that I didn't know of.

The PAL machine will be easy enough to get hold of... It's a TV that supports PAL that'll be your problem.

Hey Anthony ... apparently the site says it will play on an NTSC C64 also, so give it a shot!

"Please note that C64anabalt is compatible with NTSC C64's, but [...] it stutters slightly at high running speeds (due to the NTSC machine having less CPU time available). The game also plays fractionally faster than the PAL version. None of these issues severely affect the play of the game, but it should be noted that the game was coded specifically for PAL machines."
