Poser 7 Animation Test - Maki 2D to Maki 3D

Poser 7 can combine photos how is this done? I don't have the program yet still thinking of getting it and since I can't afford the newest version considering poser 7 just now. Can you give me some advice? I would like to do computer animation but as of yet been unable to afford any programs with my limited budget.

Mejor usa daz studio, con ese tienes mas control, pero mejor aun exporta los modelos a 3dsmax allí si que podrás crear animaciones y renders de alta calidad., eso si tendrás que riggear el modelo. Si requieres ayuda avisa por PM.

@Locke3K update: si exportas en formato "collada" no tendras que riggear se exportaran el eskeleto y las texturas, ademas te recomiendo vray... es muy bueno y rapido para el render.

@Locke3K Indeed the new version of Daz Studio allows you to export in Collada, import then in 3dsmax using a collada plugin (I think the built in is not very reliable) and you get the model textured and even RIGGED!!!

Wow. Really poor poser work with a model made by someone else in its default state. You didn't make any of the models so at best this is a collection of crappy renders. Your drawing looks NOTHING like the model. Your drawing has a huge round chin where as the model (that someone else mad) has a hart shaped chin. You did however pick some wild green eyes for her. Don't get me wrong, mine were piss poor back in the days of poser 4.

OK Smartass.. first of all i never said i created the poser model. In fact, i CLEARLY said in the description that i used TY2 as the base model and made some changes.

You said "you didn't make any of the models" while there is only one model with different clothes. If u didn't notice that i can see your level of "knowledge" in the matter.

The drawing doesn't resemble very well the 3D model simply because i did it years ago and was just a sketch. I'm free to change it anyway i want.

is there an exporter in poser? i was wondering if its posible to export models you make in here and bring it over to 3DS max.. the new CAT (Character Animation Tool) that came out with max 2010 is an atomic bomb.you can realy get good motion tweens with it.

How long... mmm ... i don't remember exactly how much, but let' see:

In creating the character...... an afternoon.

Animation process..... an hour so-so.

Render process.... that takes long... depending in how many frames and elements the scene has.

The first animation took like 3 hours rendering.

That's about it.

Mmmm making the scene didn't take long... an hour perhaps? but the rendering DOES take a lot of time and CPU resources.

It doesn't need much skill really. Just get used to the software, have patience and you'll be fine.

En Poser 7 comienzas con un modelo base y desde alli comienzas a modificar a gusto, como los colores, proporciones, rasgos, cabello, ropa, etc y una vez hecho todo eso se comienza a armar la animacion.

Yeah, it's a good software and can be a usefull tool to get an idea about the 3D animation world. It may be a little confusing at first, but there are plenty good tutorials on the web.

With an aplication called "Poser 7"

I used a model base named "Terai Yuki 2" and then modified some parameters about her body, size, face etc.

Then added her hair, skin texture, clothes and colors and other stuff. (because the base model TY2 comes fully naked.. no texture no hair, nothing :P)

Finally when she is ready you start creating the animation and that's all.

No te preocupes, yo tambien soy de Latinoamerica. Yo aprendi a usar Poser con algunos consejos de un amigo mas entendido en el tema y el resto fui experimentando por mi cuenta. Lamentablemente no tengo tiempo como para dedicarme a hacer videotutoriales pero te recomiendo que visites una pagina llamada "Tutorial Paradise". Aplica google ya que no se permite escribir links en los comentarios.

Tambien busca tutoriales por Youtube. Hay unos cuantos. Espero que te haya servido. Saludos!
