@Dave321Seb Its a Rhodesian Ridgeback. If your dog has a "rigde" on it back, which is just hair on its back that is going in the opposite direction than the other hair then you have a Rhodesian. Although not all Rhodesian have the ridge.

Woah your a great trainer. You tell what to do how to do it and it's super fun seeing your dogs. ^^ I've always wanted to teach my dog this trick because she's really smart so I think she'll get the hang of it pretty fast. I'm going to try it, I've learned some other tricks from you to. :) Looks easy enough. I'm going to do it now I'll be back to see how the results went. ;D

@Sharonneke Of course! Treats are to reinforce the behavior during training. Once the dog associates positive (yummy!) things with the action you're teaching, they will willingly do it on cue later down the line.

If she were offering the treat before the cue, it would be a bribe. As it is, the treat is a reward for performing on cue.

I did this with my puppy! he learned shake and high five in a matter of days!

i followed these instructions, was patient and he did it by himself after day 2 of training ^^.
