  • the music they made was so ahead of its time if played today it would be a hit again. the "LOGGINS&MESSINA" era was legendary folks all over the world are still playing their music,TIMELESS,words& tunes& instrumentals far above what's played now. So current."{HALL of FAME"is where they belong!

  • Back to my early years. Some albums I question what I liked about them but this is still excellent.

    Thanks for posting.

  • yes this song is/was about Kissenger... NOBODY writes like this anymore... what a great song... and album... GREAT PLAYERS!! :-)

  • What an absolute JOY to find this song and feel it again. Thanks so much!!!!!

  • given the time this was released, and the lyrics seeming to describe the hypocracy of Henry Kissinger as Nixon's Secretary Of State, traveling the world, defending our war in Vietnam.

We learned nothing from that war, and we're doing the same thing today in Iraq and Afghanistan.

    Peace.

    Rock

  • Larry Sims is a great bass player.

    They had an unbelievable band.

  • Oh what a song! I love this!

  • the best

  • This is whyI think Loggins and Messina is one of the FINEST bands ever!

PLUS, as a bass player, I MUST say that Larry Sims is a Major influence on my bass playing! On this song."Peacemaker" I could easily just listen to the Bass playing! AND--this song's words are just as revelant on as in 1976! I LOVE this whole song!

  • @elkkid2 spot on... I think I learned half of what I know about producing from wearing this album out... this is the baroque period of rock... excellent everything...
