Your progress under your teacher in these videos is impressive - even in some of the most difficult movements, you are starting to look "natural" - which is the highest compliment I can pay anyone.
Your teacher must be very pleased both with your own work ethic, and the excellent results you are starting to obtain from his teaching.
My most sincere compliments to both you and your Teacher!
Finally good Kung Fu online. Thank you very much. Most of the crap you see online makes me gag. And you have these people who talk about (or think they are talking about) kung fu and all this flowery dancing non sense.
Watching these vids has really inspired me to get back into practicing more often. I hope to see more!
@searchsoul Shaolin is wushy... Wushu is the European name for Kung-Fu. So givven the fact that Shaolin is Lung-Fu, yes this is Wushu.... Don't rly know what style is...but hope my answer was helpfull for you a little :)
You guys always have cool vids! I'm curious, what's the double weapon I see practiced at 1:21 and again towards the end of the video? I can't quite catch what it is.
Hey, I was wondering if you guys do any sparring? I've noticed some of your application videos, and they're really cool, like these videos. But I was wondering you had any videos where you guys are practicing or competing sparring.
PS - What song is this? It sounds good. =D Thank you for taking the time to respond!

that Miao Dao is probably the closest conventional weapon you can get to FF7's Sephiroth's Masamune. any longer it would be to fragile for a fight

That's all the option you give me?
Don't know what exactly do you mean by wushu.
Anyway, we don't practice da-gou-bang
jingang 2 years ago

Thanks, I'm glad you like them. I put a lot of effort to make them.
The weapon you are talking about is a double mace called "shuang jian" (双锏)

It would be nice if you guys put some videos up of your free sparring. The xingyi sanshou applications were the closest I saw, and very interesting.

jingang 3 years ago
Nice but I find it different from China's artial arts
GodzProX 3 years ago
but it is Chinese martial arts.... maybe different from singapore's Chinese martial arts
jingang 3 years ago
yeah probably, cause I've learnt the same weapons, jst different "style".
GodzProX 3 years ago
We practice northern styles (Xingyi, Baji, Pigua, Chuo jiao...)
The swords and the staff you see here are from Pigua. The spear from Xingyi and Baji.
The double mace and Dadao do not belong to any style.
jingang 3 years ago
What style do you practice? :)
Malganious 3 years ago
I do Xingyiquan and Jingangbashi
