  • Your progress under your teacher in these videos is impressive - even in some of the most difficult movements, you are starting to look "natural" - which is the highest compliment I can pay anyone.

Your teacher must be very pleased both with your own work ethic, and the excellent results you are starting to obtain from his teaching.

My most sincere compliments to both you and your Teacher!

    Best Regards,

    Michael Phillips

  • Why is the song to the video in Japanese?

  • @lunarfault What language do you think it should be in ?

  • 3:43 my fav!!

  • Finally good Kung Fu online. Thank you very much. Most of the crap you see online makes me gag. And you have these people who talk about (or think they are talking about) kung fu and all this flowery dancing non sense.

Watching these vids has really inspired me to get back into practicing more often. I hope to see more!

  • Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. Master Zhou is the real stuff for sure

  • whats the name of the song

  • that Miao Dao is probably the closest conventional weapon you can get to FF7's Sephiroth's Masamune. any longer it would be to fragile for a fight

  • Very nice videos you have here !

  • Thanks

  • is this shaolin or wushu? i can't find 'da gou bang' (beat dog baton?)..

  • That's all the option you give me?

Don't know what exactly do you mean by wushu.

    Anyway, we don't practice da-gou-bang

  • I think he meant something like a big hooked club

    大钩棒

  • @searchsoul Shaolin is wushy... Wushu is the European name for Kung-Fu. So givven the fact that Shaolin is Lung-Fu, yes this is Wushu.... Don't rly know what style is...but hope my answer was helpfull for you a little :)

  • @leathoforganicplasti Kung-Fu i ment...not Lung-Fu :))

  • damn I want to learn how to use a rope or chain eventually so badly ..

got some advice for me? =D

  • yupe - come and practice with us! :P

  • jiapanaise song for chinese gong fu???????????

  • very cool!

  • Guy, what song do you use for that video7

  • Whot song do you use for that video7

  • Great video guys very interesting stuff, could you tell me the name of the song used for your video ?

  • You guys always have cool vids! I'm curious, what's the double weapon I see practiced at 1:21 and again towards the end of the video? I can't quite catch what it is.

  • Thanks, I'm glad you like them. I put a lot of effort to make them.

The weapon you are talking about is a double mace called "shuang jian" (双锏)

  • It would be nice if you guys put some videos up of your free sparring. The xingyi sanshou applications were the closest I saw, and very interesting.

  • Nihongo :X

  • this song is in japanese :(

  • so? singer is Chinese

  • Nice but I find it different from China's artial arts

  • but it is Chinese martial arts.... maybe different from singapore's Chinese martial arts

  • yeah probably, cause I've learnt the same weapons, jst different "style".

  • We practice northern styles (Xingyi, Baji, Pigua, Chuo jiao...)

The swords and the staff you see here are from Pigua. The spear from Xingyi and Baji.

The double mace and Dadao do not belong to any style.

  • What style do you practice? :)

  • I do Xingyiquan and Jingangbashi

  • Hey, I was wondering if you guys do any sparring? I've noticed some of your application videos, and they're really cool, like these videos. But I was wondering you had any videos where you guys are practicing or competing sparring.

PS - What song is this? It sounds good. =D Thank you for taking the time to respond!

  • We do spar.

  • yeah we do sparring, mainly practice sparring but our teacher also teaches for competition sparring (which I will start soon) :P

  • An excelent video, You have an excelent Treacher this shows in your forms. very nice to watch.

  • Cool vids! Thanks!

    Is this school open year-round?

  • Yes. We practice at the cold winters and the hot summers too.

  • hehe oh yeah I'm freezing my pants off but it has it's benefits.. there are different preferred practices for different times of the year..
