the supercharger is only bad for a daily driver if u gun it all the time, but the superchatger can actually increase ur gas milelage when driving normal, because it forces more air

supercharger is a parasitic forced induction. Ever heard of parasitic drag? That is what a supercharger causes. It does compress the air but the engine compensates with a proprtionally equivilent amout of fuel. More air more fuel. Otherwise you would run lean.

supercharged for an everyday driver is better than turbocharged because when your not using the turbo it atomizes the air making the car use more gas and yes it is legal to run exhaust with no cats atleast around but some cars need the extra back pressure so i wouldnt do it to something like a small v6
