Many of the people in Cuba know only Castro. During the revolution, Castro promised democratic freedom and a better life than the poor people had under the dictator Batista. Those who might have revolted left the country. After the fall of the old Soviet Union, many of the "so-called" freebies disappeared. Open your eyes or do some research! Cuba is locked in the late 1950's. I don't think this is the socialist Cuba Che was fighting for!

communist piece of shit thats all it is. i feel bad for the people. for in communism lies the reason for their miserable poverty. Cubans need to head for the hills and bring tha government to a halt. The and only then will they freedom and prosperity will follow.

@arrock14 I believe the Cuban people are happy for there system they have; if they weren't, why have we not seen a counter revolution?Cubans have access to food, clothing, universal healthcare, housing, ect.. Statistically speaking, Cubans are happier, healthier, and live longer than their cynical capitalist neighbor that is only 90 miles away from them.
Please keep your witless opinions to yourself; this isn't an appropriate place to talk about one's baseless, ignorant, Fascist views.
