NCA&T vs NCCU 5th Quarter 2009 Pt2

Im sorry! Both bands aren't good at all! A&T has a legacy that they are desperately trying to hold on to. And NCCU tries to be a safe band, but isn't clean enough! Brass in both bands sound bad, NEITHER TRUMPET SECTION has anything close to range, just bad for no reason! The truth is that being forreal, the best NC bands will be CIAA bands! WSSU and Shaw U!!! Think Im playin!!!!

NCCU is a Terrible 5th quarter band..i'm sorry. Ok sound on some stuff. But otherwise they sound pretty "hum drum".

Why waste so much time criticising NCAT's band program. They are really good at what they do. What program does not have flaws. All in all they give the MEAC a run for its money for the most part and could hold it down in any other conference!.....THE END.

NOT! It's not about being "loud enough", the overall quality of your band is just not up to par...simple. Decent enough sound...maybe for CIAA. And you won't be in the MEAC for long...

Like I said before outside of the top five bands in da MEAC which r famu bcu nsu scsu n yes a&t...the quality of bands takes a decrease...n a&t is not da only band in da MEAC...but for the slow folk who keep sayin we will be back in da CIAA based off our band...our band has notin to wit us goin to da MEAC n even if we dont have a MEAC sound dat still wuldnt be the reason we wuld go back to the CIAA...we are goin to da MEAC because of our school as a whole we have outgrown the Division 2 level

I really don't see why the debate goes on every year between these two schools. Completely two different styles as far as playing styles, show concepts, practice habbits and mentalities. Even the arrangements have completely different concepts and styles. These debates get out of hand and then half the time its people that are talking that know absolutely nothing about music.

the really only song that kinda-maybe wowed me by nccu was at 4:55 dont kno the name..but it sounded good, great arrangement :D they should sound like that with every song :/ 2 bad it isnt that way

The black uniform we have like that from last year we do wear in the stands sometimes too but try not to because we drown into the band. Its mostly for Entrance attire...BTW...the band sounds great. Go Aggies!!!!

LOL!!! oooh boy you better not say that. prettypiccolo11..they will have a fit!! Even though they are combined now, have a similar dance style, and use multiple props....that is not the GD concept. ;-) Just because GD has been the only ones doing it since the late 80's means nothing.
