saw this band in the late 90's many times. With everyone from Avail to Less Than Jake. Amazing guys, great shows. Makes me mad that I slacked off and didn't make The Fest this year for their last show ever
I know a number of so called "popular bands" today that don't come even close to Ann Beretta. This is a great Richmond band, and Rob has true musical heart. Even his other band "Foundation Band" is testament of his great muscal skills.
It is a big mystery to me how they never became known to wide audiences. And it is very ironical to know that there is a band like this, while you are constantly disgusted by "popular" bands and the junk they record today.
i seen this band at the dungeon in oshawa cause i missed them the day before in montreal with closet monster and the ghost man what a wicked show i cant believe there no longer gonna grace us with there wonderful sounds of greatness
xmxkx1 is right Ann Beretta should have had a bigger following I own all their albums and nobody ever heard of them. I hope Rob gets the boys back together for one last album. I miss good music.
bitter tongues is my favorite record of the 90's.. can't believe they didn't get bigger after that. I sincerely regret not doing more to support them. Can't help but wonder if we all did our part back then to show we like their music as much as we do, that maybe they would be rocking out today and making new music
ha.. i just made a comment that mirrors what you just said, without first reading yours.
i called out bitter tongues for being an amazing album for our generation. i also said they should have got much bigger and theres really no explanation why they have not. we should lobby for an ann beretta reunion.
it is very scary the quality/popularity ratio of bitter tongues, and also how much we're on the same page about the topic without ever discussuing it before
i sincerely cannot believe i can't find more ann beretta on here, i lost ALL my albums when i moved like 6 years ago, i miss them so

it's scary how good of an album bitter tongues is, and how few people seem to know about it.
curse Lookout and their lousy marketing...this band should have had a bigger following.

Are they officially broken up? I heard that they were just on the ever popular 'hiatus'. If they're really broken up, that's terrible!!
