What do you mean by double stranded?

Double stranding is a great way to blend two colors of yarn together to create a whole new color and use lighter weight yarns to make a different gauge. You literally carry 2 strands of yarn held together through out your work and remember when you come back the other way be sure to work the 2 strands as one stitch. Hope that helps!
