LMAO, healing doesn't work on you and Lydia, that heal only works on you. You need healing hands to heal other people. which I am sure you know by now.

no single hit can kill a companion. they go into resting mode when they get weak and enemies leave them alone, so the only way they can die is if you hurt them while they're down or if an enemy uses and area attack.

@NoTrueFace1 No, she died. She was lying on the ground not moving at all. I took all her stuff and got a new companion without anything telling me that she was still my companion. Besides, Marcurio is so much better than Lydia.

you can do this much easier: use your bow and shouts until dragon lands and finish him with your sword, axe or mace.

i had a epic dragon fight to..

on a abonded tower (Forgot name already :P) the dragon was on the edge, i tried to headshot him with sneak but missed the head, so he flied away.

he came back and i was able to finish him off, hitting the head and then he fell down STRAIGHT to the tower, i was like SHIT!

but the he crashed against the floor and fell over the edge. just close enough to drain his soul. you could see the light in the dark snow..

@ivnsnv They're more dangerous when they land... especially when you fight Elder Dragons, Frost Dragons and Ancient ones... if you stay close enough in front of them an animation sequence happens and they'll kill you instantly... happens most of the time. and also, when you get far from the game their shouts gets stronger than you'll be able to resist them, but that's where ward spell comes in to block it.

Imagine how much more challenging dragon battles would be if combat was real time... meaning that even when you open up your menu, combat continues and you can die. It's a shame most dragons in this game are complete pushovers even on the master difficulty once you gain certain abilities. Much to my disappointment, even Alduin wasn't hard. Mehrunes Dagon was way more badass than the World Eater. Alduin should have been bigger and more difficult.
