There are intersting statistics. WINNERS: 15, 15 ERRORS: 1,3!

Today 15-15 is good. Oh. Old, good tennis...

  • USA rules

  • Younes was 32 when he played this match......... Wow

  • we miss you aynaoui !

  • es el mejor andy...

  • that hat is hideous :) btw great match!

  • concluded watching the highlights something like 10 mins ago and i'm still amazed.i don't know what...hit me.What an amazing match it must have been...

  • 5:32 what was the speed of that forehand

  • The forehand from el Aynaoui at 4:51 is AMAAAZING !!! :O

  • great vid,but u shouldve put the moment when they both handed the racquets to ballboys for 2,3 points..:D It was in 5th set, maybe 15 - 15 or something

  • woo 6:13 what a shot, glad to see Younes stepping in and hitting that two hander as the match wore on, lots of slice on the backhand side early on

  • El Aynaoui had such a huge forehand when he went for it. For such a dynamic attacking player, he was often reluctant to go for much on it at times. He also got screwed badly a couple of times in this match. Roddick was also so dynamic back then, a real exciting player, have no idea why he has become so passive.

  • This was a spectacular match. Too bad I had to leave it midway through to go to school when it was happening.

  • Second best match I've ever seen behind Safin-Federer in 2005 at the Australian Open

  • that´s why i love roddick he paly with his heart no matter if he die trying... and this is one of the greates match that i ever seen.... i hope he recovery his form this year after all the injurys....

  • 5:32

Remember when Roddick had that shot? Now he hits powderpuff forehands.

  • He got soft hands, don't he?

    3.45

  • That forehand at 5:32 was rediculously good

  • How did Roddick win? Oh, his serve..

  • Forehand at 5:32 !

  • for me more enjoyable than wimbledon 08 nadal vs federer. i wish it wasn't tape-delayed when it aired in 2003

  • wooow how fas was roddick's forehand at 5:31

  • 3.45 El Aynaoui taking the ass of roddick

  • how about showing the score, espn?

  • ugh i miss this kind of tennis rafa and fed make it pretty gay

  • 7:12 »7:29 no comments

  • the Moroccan Youness shoud have won the australien open at that time really he was amazing and what a match,,i still remember watching this match at 6 am in my time ..wont forget this match pure great tennis really,,if nadal or federer were in this march vs one of these champions, they wud have been crushed..thanks al aynaoui

  • 6:10 might make Fed jealous

  • a true battle of fitness this one. what a classic. had a lot more leverage imo, than the isner mahut one. but thats not to say that one wasn't good. both are classics and im so privileged to be born in an era where i have experienced these.

  • Tennis was betetr back then. Characters like El Aynaoui from Morocco and Scrichapan from Thailand made it good. now its always just the same countries represented.

  • 4:07 is the most incredible volley I've seen in my life..

  • both were awesome!

  • great match between to players. So touched at the end of the match.

  • Roddick did everything better than he does now, except the serve. He showed a good volley, big forehand but could move it around, backhand was solid (it's no better today) and moved really well. Pretty sad that his best tennis came in 03/04 when he was young. Kind of like Djokovic.

  • @Anaconda43VR I disagree. I think overall, Roddick is a better, smarter player then he was back then. True, he could really bone crush the ball when he was younger, but now, he knows he doesn't have to. He can volley if he wants, he can grind it out if he wants, and he can still hit winners off both sides when he wants.

  • @tvp900 i agree with you there, old post i know, but if that is the guess i think that might actually be a problem roddick needs to fix, being he has too many options so he gets lazy, especially with the grinding it out part. He does still need that bone crushing power, whether he wants it or not, and he's shown he's still had it back in miami, this year though has been just a bunch o bad luck after a wonderful first 4 months.

  • sometimes when roddick hit his forehand it looks like he has a squash racket not a tennis racket

  • look´s like roddick was using -luxilon alu power original- here..

  • @reefric Yea like you know that Mr. I think I know it all!

  • @teknogeek1995 do you have a problem with my simple comment?

  • Its hard to believe a certain frenchmen and a 7ft tall american actually beat this match in time, basically trippling the score and doubling the time! hahaha This is still one of my favorite matches but now it kinda just pales to 70-68...

  • Cliff Drysdale can say some stupid shit sometimes, but hes the best commentator for tennis he never talked down about any player even if they are losing badly now Mary Carillo(pause) she needs to shut the fuck up-this bitch will talk in the middle of a game and say some off the wall shit about a player that has nothing to do with the match-How the hell did she get that job.

  • I will never forget that shot from Younes @ 6:11...always the one thing that sticks in my mind from this match

  • @THMulder Yea that point was sweet

  • younes had a match point against rodick in this match ; i remeber it very well ; and i watched it on eurosports with deutchland comment hhhh :)

  • I love Andy's enthusiasm!

  • although andy won, but he made many stupid mistakes during this match

  • younes <3 the best morrocan player ever

  • @TheDragonforces, arazi wasn't bad

  • @TheDragonforces fuck him . go andy .

  • roddick was super fast here; nadal-like speed

  • Incredible!

  • youns think you men

  • i want roddick to make a comeback, he definetly has the ability,

  • i'm speechless...

  • Probably the greatest match that i've ever seen. :-D

  • same here

  • couldnt agree more !

  • Very entertaining clip.

  • I always watch that match point that Roddick faced at 4-5. What a shot! What a reaction! So EPIC!!

  • good vid man !

  • wow... roddick used to kick ass back then..

  • Would have been an amzing match without the 5th set but whoa!

  • thanks!

  • godd job! what a match!
