Technically, All Along the Watch Tower wasn't Jimi's song. He just popularized it.  It was originally by Bob Marley.

They are some of my favourite Hendrix songs. You're list was ok but I think you need to expand on your Hendrix songs. Purple Haze is definitely not #1 but that's ok your opinion. Me personally Little Wing is his best song!

Each of those guys look up to Hendrix, I saw a video of 4/5 of those guys talking about Hendrix as their biggest influence. You have to really understand the complexity of Hendrix's genious origion in music to see why he's the best there ever was and will be. thats just my opinion anyways.
