ive been on accutane for what 2 months now (3 days till my 3rd) i am seeing hardly any results. i started the product to get rid of the acne on my back, i rarely ever had acne on my face. BUT NOW i am experienceing all kinds of acne, you know the little sweat pimples on my forehead and then some cystic (which i have never ever had!) in a small patch along my jaw line..... is it gunna get better soon? and is anyone else experienceing this? my self estem is waaaaaaaaaaaaay down
it costs $60 for each packet with 30 accutane pills, depending on the dosage. $60 for 30 (40mg pills). It also depends if you have a health care plan in your country. I don't have to pay for the dermatologist, it's in the health plan
I started Accutane a week and a couple of days ago and I'm on 40 mg a day. I watched your other videos and now your on 60 mg here and can't smile or anything haha is it really that bad? Oh, and why six months? I thought it was only three! :(
Hiya there! Actually, here it wasn't so bad, it's just that you really do have to wear chapstick or vaseline at all times, and I hadn't put it on in about an hour or so.
Now I'm on 80mg, probably the highest dose I will be on, and I'm in the middle of month 4. In the morning, I wake up to a layer of lip coming off my face. Whatever you do, don't pull it off. If anything, just wet them with hot water to get the excess skin off, then put on vaseline immediately after.
Hyy i've just started roaccutane ^^, pretty hair band, hm, you know when you finish your course for the medication, make sure you do a video for like months after being off roaccutane, i think im going to do that lol, thank you for your videos, reallly helps me x
Hey there! I'm so glad that I've been able to help people out on here! And I definitely will keep this updated after the 6 months are over. There isn't enough information on the aftermath it seems. Take care toots!
wikid love the videos mate its cool watching your journey im on my 3rd week half way into braking out a bit... Your skin looks amazing im counting down the days lol....
My suggestion: Toss your hands up in the air like you just don't care for about 2 months. There are so many little changes going on during that period that it is pointless to try and track progress.
Distract yourself by: playing music, writing epic novels, having the safest sex possible, and convincing the world that you're not actually human.
The best results for me started between month 2 or 3, and now that i'm on 60mg, my scars are starting to disappear. Just be patient with it and you'll see amazing results as well! Good luck Alyssa!
Thanks for the comment! I love colorful hair! Also, I usually try to take my pills early in the day, in the morning or afternoon. This is because I have my largest meal early in the day and it provides better pill-cushion in my stomach.
I also recommend taking it at a time you have the most control over your meal time. Life can get a little hectic and my dinners can get pretty late, so I'd rather have it with breakfast, when I know I will have enough time to eat.
I feel so much better now definitely! I remember how horrible I felt pre-accutane, and am really glad that I am already on month 3. The support of this little accutane community of ours has definitely helped this process go by a lot more enjoyably!
your headband is awesome!!!!!!!
