How do you not clean a new house they've only been there for 5 yrs.......that's when a family is excited about decorating and inviting people over to show their pride and joy.....she doesn't come across as a depressed person or a hoarder.....Mom and Dad are just lazy.

I just want to clean, clean and re-clean when I watch this. I hope people with bad houses find this online and make some changes on their own. I know I had been putting off my utility room and I went crazy on it last night around 2am in the morning, I wanted to quit in the middle when I got tired and I told myself that Kim wouldnt leave it undone. It looks great today.

@vivsters96 a lot of walls in the uk are not drywall they are rendered (plastered) brick and can't be replaced.

So, the mold that had been there for 5 years was wiped off in 5 minutes?! I just don't understand it. Why would anyone leave it so long? I think with about 90% less 'stuff' in the place, there'd be that much less chaos. You just have to keep on top of clearing out clutter on a regular basis, especially with the number of people in that home. I feel sorry for Michaela.

If so many of these "people" are "so shocked and disgusted", than why do they watch? Do they also stop to gawk at an accident, but don't bother to help? I love watching these shows, because these people get the help and "jump start" they need. I think Aggie and Kim (and the team of cleaners) get a kick out of helping people. How does that saying go? "I was naked and you clothed me. . . or, I gave up and you came over to inspire me."

Kim and Aggie truly are humanitarians.

How can some people be such lazy nasty slobs? Clothes piles up in the kitchen, mold, roaches, mice, and filth everywhere. Every time I watch this program I am shocked by the way these people live. It's truly disgusting!
