Do u know the real problem? Those koreans don't dislike America. they just doubt whether it is safe to eat American beef. They say "Imported beef in Korea has risk of mad cow disease!" And angry that president LEE decided import, and lied to nation that american beef is safe.
yes, they can boycott it.but they know many sellers will decieve them.
In fact, there are Agitators who stir up divisions in a A-K friendship. Maybe NK spies. At the time many people are incited. they should watch out
I think the Koreans really do need to start thinking about curbing their hysteria...a tad. I think they've made their point now. If it goes further, I'm going to start wondering about ulterior motives at play.
I mean, while the herd (no pun intended) of angry Koreans protest US Beef imports and lecture their government...maybe they could also protest the hideous amounts of harmful MSG they export to US in their ramyuns? Thanks!
Absolutely, its a lot of the 'en masse' mentality here. One blogger said that Koreans don't have popular public opinion, but rather emotional fads, or something like that. There's a lot that should be protested against, but I think this one account is somewhat insignificant. However, they protest. And that is something generally lost in the west, so props for that.
I thought that they were mainly upset at and protesting their government, not ours.

If those Korean don't like the American beef, they can just boycott it, and don't eat it. Why they have to protest?
It will make Korean government difficult to deal with the American government.
and it will make American people dislike about Korean. It will destory American-Korean friendship!

Up to now, which has claimed more casualties, mad cow or protesting? I have protesting 1 mad cow 0. Unless I have my facts wrong. Food for thought.
