I have been a James Bond fan since I was born and I have to say that this is the LEAST MEMORABLE song out of every movie. Frankly, this song does not satisfy the Bond legacy at all. If you think this song is actually good. Listen to 2:06 a few times. You cannot tell me that is good music. Personally, I prefer the songs that incorporate the movie title into the song. However, I was very pleased with Casino Royale's song. Overall, this theme is not very melodic, not very catchy, and not very good.

Its too easy to harp back to the older Bond themes which I still love but one of the things that has made Bond and enduring brand is its abiblity to move with the times. Call me old-fashioned, but I prefer my songs to have a melody. I like something I can hum to, or sing along with, as opposed to an assortment of musical stabs. This theme song sounds like a collection of disjointed guitar riffs, drum solos, and Jack White's voice alternating between 2-3 notes. There's no cohesion --no synergy.

In contrast, Casino Royale's theme was keeper for sure --an homage to classic Bond, yet still a modern-sounding tune with an actual melody.

This sounds like...screw it...it will do...we are current household names. I just rented the movie from redbox. I've seen better bond films, but good though. They could of worked on plot and charecter development more. They spent a fortune by shooting all of this on location and not CGI. Had a $190 million budget, they spent $250 million. For Bond is not about gadgets, he is all about using his skill to get out of situations, he was also imperfect so people could relate to him. If Die Another Day was so good, then why is it hated by most Bond fans and was the effect that caused them to reboot the series. Read the Casino Royale book and then watch the movie, they are identical, so no DaD is not what Flemming's Bond is about.

@Seargent363 Casino Royale is spot on with the book apart from the added effects, explosions and dramatisation (which is necessary). But Craig himself is more Jason Bourne than Bond. If anyone fits the character the most (I'm going to get a pasting for this) it's Dalton. In the books, Bond is a lonely man, rarely gets the girl and in some ways, quite boring and with a lot less charm than Connery or Brosnan (my favourites). Dalton gets it to a T.
