Based on the first 3 pages I've read, it's based on World War I, or was it II... I was tired at the time. I don't think it'll be all that horrific, and if it is, then just put it down and try something else, I guess. Any ideas on the next book I should review? (sorry, I'm a bit excited about my first comment)
Just finished the book! It really wasn't graphic at all. There were about 2 graphic descriptions, neither of which were all that bad, by my standards. This book is trippy, that's for sure.
I think that you should review "I am Legend." It is one the more recent books that I have read, and would like to get another's opinion. Also, what are some of your favorite books? I am pretty picky when it comes to what I read. If it's not super-dee-duper awesome, I will put it down. Any suggestions? =)
My favorites are 1984, Catcher in the Rye, Wizard's First Rule... I think there's a big list on my channel description. 1984 is pretty much the greatest book ever written, and The Catcher in the Rye is a must read for all teens. Wizards First Rule sounds cliche, but it's an incredibly well written fantasy book. It's the first in a series of 11, and I'm hooked! (They're all about 800 pages, so you really need to set aside some time to finish one of these suckers.)
Also... I've sort of got a thing about books that became movies. I've only seen bits and pieces of "I am Legend", but I'm sure that most (if not all) of my 4 subscribers have seen the movie. I'd like to stick to stuff that's new for all of us, if you don't mind.
I think I saw "The Scarlet Letter" in your list. Probably my favorite book ever.

How was Forging the Sword? I was going to buy it the other day, but I was unsure.
Btw, great idea with the channel. I have to say I share the addiction.

Forging the Sword was so-so. Just an average fantasy series if you ask me.

Good idea. I too am a reader, but I get freaked out easily, so I am going to choose to NOT read slaughterhouse 5... based on solely the title.
