about 12 years ago, the 1980 Ford Escort Ghia that i was driving lost its front wheel (driver's side - my future father-in-law as passenger - yes, walang seatbelt!) while coming back from Pansol one afternoon headed onto the SSH on-ramp at about 80kph. somehow, i managed to swerve the Escort to the shoulder on the disc-brake.
i can't forget how the runaway wheel just missed a southbound vehicle on the opposite lane! i'm still here, if not for that car's tank-like chassis! I LIVED!
this 2 dr model was of ford brenda 1600 gt make 76 and was the no.1 car rallye champion in asia pacific w/ a kent modified 1600 racing specs engine. sa mga bagets di nyo pa inabot kc itong car na ito! ito ang pinaka astig sports car noong 1975-77!!
