Here's my testimony. I smoked for many years and really wanted to quit for a long time and every time I prayed to God to help me quit I got sick the very next day. Last time, which was about 4 months ago, I consciously prayed one more time amd surely enough I had terrible bronchitis the very next day. "Lord, thank You" I prayed . "I got the message". I have never smoked again since then. No cravings, no withrawal. I just fell off from me. Praise the Lord.
Maybe that's what I need to do because I have tried the patch, pill etc & none of them seemed to work. It's not physically, it's all mentally. I smoke over two packs a day & it's been over 30 yrs. I think about quitting every day but, I've never just told Jesus that I'm quitting & put them down. Thanks for the advice. I will let you know how the outcome.
I smoked for 20 plus years. I tore them up and I stopped to please Jesus. It was easy. I couldn't believe it. I smoked a pack a day. It seems like when I sacrificed them for him it became so much easy to live away from sin. He waits for us then he steps in to take urges away! Good story! Blessings!
