Lovin this dear man! Today is his 73rd Birthday! He is the sweetest man and one of the cleanest players out there. Yes, Yes, Yes--, his music has got groove and humor, which are indispensable ingredients in blues. He sounds just frank and honest without any hint of affectation, reflecting his likable character. I feel the same vibe as when I listen to Jimmy Smith.
