Jayala111, check out the video Laamberry and I made a while back about mold making. It is on the RPF channel. It goes into a lot more detail on materials and process of prepping and mixing rubber.

In that video, we used Silpak R1328. I also use Smooth on MoldMax 25. Give smooth on a call, ask for tech support, then tell them what you want to do. They will tell you exactly which product you should but.

I'm new to prop making. I was just curious what is the product you are using to make the rubber mold and where I could buy it. I found some products by smooth-on but don't know the difference between products. or which is the best.

I am making the molds because there are still some details I need to work into the pattern, and they are of the type that would not work well with MDF. I have no plans to offer these for sale, however, I might want more than one for myself :)
