I found out the problem. When I was rebuilding the carb I noticed a lot of sediment that had came out when I cleaned it. I guess apparently they had the idle turned way up as a result, causing it to flood. I removed spark plug and kept cranking til cylinder quit spitting gas. Guess I didn't bottom the idle screw like I thought I had. Replaced plug and played with idle a bit and its up and running now. Thanks for all the help
Maybe you can help me with mine. I have a 25cc craftsman weed eater. I replaced the fuel lines, rebuilt carb, cleaned muffler and in tank fuel filter. Seems to be getting fuel and it is getting spark but still won't start. Also using fresh gas 40:1 I adjusted idle a turn and a half from bottom which I understand is a decent starting point. I don't know where to go next?
@br0ken68 I dont know much else to check but you can check the sparkplug gap if you have the tool to do so. and if the weed eater is fairly old the compression could be low but I dont tend to see that problem much. thank you very much for your comment .
@br0ken68 ive had the same problum many times, i think they would have timing jus liek any other motor so try not to mess with th episton and all that,
Nitro engines can be ALOT smaller than gas two strokes, they are way more precice! And wayyyyy more powerfull
