What a fun little song... I was totally expecting it to be a Firefly song for some reason, but was not disappointed with it being Doctor Who when it started... I was kinda like "Oh, yeah... duh. THAT kind of companion." Although I did find the references to the other kind later in the song to be amusing... Great job.
