because its Disney and made for the little ones. Musicals are great this one included though I wasn't crazy about the movie, the singing and everything was still great. I love it when i get to see broadway musicals...wonder which I'd consider better, the movie or repo on broadway.

t3hsniper is absolutely right. High School Musical is mainly a very commercialized and mainstream production. It reeks of popsy, peppy, kiddy spirit which is far easier to market than something so dark and original like Repo! is.

As I've seen from a handful of reviews, Repo! really isn't for everyone. Most of the people who enjoyed the film are what I consider far more "interesting" than the norm. It really wasn't a case of which film was better, but which was easier to like.

and another thing repo didn't have going for it is commercials...I personally heard nothing of it until a friend online was talking so much about how he wanted to see it. It's sadly mostly known by word of mouth to my knowledge.

"Zydrate" would be the best eye catching number, with all the choreography and such. The other two may have a better shot though, cause I'm sure the Academy would prefer Sarah Brightman over Terrence and Zydrate-addled dancers. Not that I'm saying I'm not rooting for "Zydrate", lol. It's the best one of the three, IMO.

All three songs are standout. My money's on Zydrate Anatomy just because it is so damn catchy, but Chase the Morning is transcendent.
