Yep!! He nailed it. It's always been about sugar. Sweet poison on earth. Now my confusion is why did he start this video by saying type 2 is mostly in young people and then do a total 180 and turn around and say it's mostly in adults?!! usually over 50!?? WTF??? Now i'm confused. Someone please answer this??
@tecnolover2642 I think he just misspoke the first time. Type 1 is associated more with children, it used to be called juvenile diabetes, but now adults are getting it more and more too so it's not called that now. There's another clip from this interview called "Diabetes Treatment - Dr. Jonathan Wright, MD" which i recommend.
What I find interesting is the part about 1 in 3 having the certain gene that causes diabetes. I'm going to research this more. Fascinating. I wonder how one can screen for this gene to know if themselves or people in their family have the gene and are at risk. But yes, thanks for clarifying his statements at the beginning, i thought they were all backwards!
Rejection and self hate can trigger allsorts of problems/issues. Due to increase in blood pressure and the dominoe affect of this & Mental health issues. Chronic stress for instance can result in a raise in blood pressure, suppress the immune system, increase the risk of heart attack and stroke, infertility, can also speed up the aging process. Long-term stress can affect the brain:anxiety and depression. So theres alot more to worry about.
Like Dr Afrika says "If its white its bad for you" ;-)
