  • I normally use copic water based markers for the underdrawing and tone and a pental brushpen for line work.

  • Nice work! Do you use water or permanent pens? Its just that I've found with perm markers you need good sized paper otherwise it looks a pit messy when you hand over the finished work at a live event.

  • at first...i thought it was a monkey...then an elephant...lol! but it's beautifully made.thanks!

  • So you earn your living by sloppily and badly drawing politicians? Some fuckin world we live in huh?

  • how do you start a caricature and make it look and represent the person you are drawing?

  • Thanks glad you liked it

  • Looks just like him.

  • Thanks for watching.

  • Visit Youknowitshere . net Has them!

  • Thanks my friend.

  • Thanks for taking the time to post your caricature. I like to see the process. I'm a caricaturist wannabe and so posts like this are excellent sources for me. thanks again.

  • cool! what marker are you using?

  • @caffeinated1zz13 I think for this one it was a pental brushpen for the linework a posterman marker for large areas of black and a warm grey copic marker for underdrawing and shading.

  • I used two songs the first "I don't drink whiskey.." is about a guy prefering his girl to drinking. The second "I got no mama now" is about lonelines. Unfortunately I don't have much more information on the songs as I no longer have the original files. I believe they where downloaded from this excellent public domain music site jazz online.com

  • I don't understand anything about the music because I learned english from my self but, I love this songs, what it talk about?

Congratulations for your job, very nice!

    Kisses, from Brazil.

  • Orribleee! So bad!...dude

  • Elephant ears!

  • this is not good or awesome, my first drawing i made was better. so i understand that you can earn maybe like 3$ per week, but i dont understand you can live from that

  • Really? Show us what you got!

  • @NoMercyFate

If YOU can't earn a good living with caricature, that is a direct result of YOUR business skills. Improve them. Make $.

I assure you that hundreds & hundreds of caricature artists are, right NOW, making a good living drawing funny pictures of people at malls, theme parks, and events worldwide...

There are artists who are better than this example, yes, however, there are many more artists who cannot draw as well but are STILL making a living drawing caricatures... Weird, huh?

  • Thats realy cool :D

  • It's okay. Though I think his lips shouldve been placed higher since it's only the nose that's being exagerrated. I didn't like what you did to the top of his head, he had a pretty big forehead to me. But it's a good attempt. Learn from your mistakes

  • this guys an ass hole , he called me an idiot for saying his art sucks cuse it dose!!!....ass hole!!

  • You ARE an idiot!

  • tHERE SO GOOD! Could you do me one

  • I normally charge for artwork what would yuo be looking for.

  • the ears was exaggerated too much

  • Maybe i'm barking up the wrong tree but I had always supposed that the essential concept of caricaturewas exaggeration. In fact the more you can push the exaggeration of peoples features without the likeness breaking down the better.

  • yeah but i think it was kind of too much, but as long as it doesn't look ugly, and im not saying the caricature was ugly

  • In more finished caricatures of Prince Charles I normally make them even bigger.

  • that is truthfully not that good bot props on the attempt keep it up

  • that looks nothing like the picture!!!!!!!!!!!!you should be ashamed!

  • its not supposed to look like the picture its a caraciture u idiot

  • what is the name of the song?

  • I am ashamed to say I cannot remember. Unfortunately the address of the excellent public domain music site I downloaded both tracks from is languishing in the favourites, and therefore at quite possibly at the bottom of a landfill, of my old pc. A couple of hours searching yesterday failed to discover the site in question. However I believe the first track I used is by Frank Stokes, but don't take that as gospel.

  • elephant man!

  • wtf....
