IT was nice not seeing Wand swing like a wild baboon for once. He actually threw straight punches for a change and used defense for a change. You would think he would fight like this all the time.
he trained with anderson silva and silva was telling him to throw those jabs whenever Cung threw a kick. He did it in the fight and after those first 2 spinning bows that caught him, he shut Cung Le down and then went back to his old clinch ways. My favourite fighter, much love to Wanderlei.

Props to Silva, but Cung certainly doesn't look like he is in fighting shape. His cardio and stamina looked really poor. He was gassed out towards the end of both rounds. Maybe its just his age catching up to him. He is 39 now.
@chiefmasta31 Thats true. Hendo was beastly, but even still, you can see him having problem with his stamina. He couldn't finish off Rua, despite dominating so early and looked more tired than Rua as the fight went on. Fighters and just athletes in general starts to lose their abilities around 30. Still being able to compete at 35+ is a very good testament to their skills.

Cung Le's nose was total fucked and hes definately gonna need surgery. He should really have a rematch because his performance was totaly embarassing.
He looked like a baby elephant and you could tell he was out of breath in the first round his mouth was always gasping for air.

Loved the way Wand fought not rushing in it was really fighting the gameplan just like he did with Bisping he didnt rush in, he even went for for a choke. Except his chin isnt what it used to be that shows to me he will never reach his prime anymore. back then he was wild and even he got hit he still was going for kill if they know touch his chin he already is KO... So happy Silva won he's been my favorite since watching sakurabi vs Silva 2, I was lying on my couch watching the fight live on my phone, as soon as he got that head lock and was kneeing le my stream froze but I could still hear the audio, as soon I heard Wanderlei won I dropd my phone and jumped off the couch in happiness was so pumped. This fight has motivated me to get back in shape Hahaha

he trained with anderson silva and silva was telling him to throw those jabs whenever Cung threw a kick. He did it in the fight and after those first 2 spinning bows that caught him, he shut Cung Le down and then went back to his old clinch ways. My favourite fighter, much love to Wanderlei.

Props to Silva, but Cung certainly doesn't look like he is in fighting shape. His cardio and stamina looked really poor. He was gassed out towards the end of both rounds. Maybe its just his age catching up to him. He is 39 now.

@chiefmasta31 Thats true. Hendo was beastly, but even still, you can see him having problem with his stamina. He couldn't finish off Rua, despite dominating so early and looked more tired than Rua as the fight went on. Fighters and just athletes in general starts to lose their abilities around 30. Still being able to compete at 35+ is a very good testament to their skills.
