From his Twitter, this was Leigh's first 1000. He's the trackside "studio presenter" for Speed US coverage, with Mike Joy and Darrell Waltrip at the press box. I can see Darrell criticising the gravel trap and recommending a paved trap for safety!

@TheRooster94 Something close to 300km/h, less power than todys V8 supercars but way more aerodynamic. At least when theyre going straight anyway
