omg guys its pretty easy to understand. She got pregnant and her boyfriend got pissed and beat her up(probibly in attempts to kill the child er something) Her mom figured out and kicked her out so she was on the streets for like her pregnancy. When she had the baby(Gabriel)she left him on her moms steps. 5 years later she goes back and see's him through the window and he waves at her and she starts to cry. Duhh.
