wires but there is only two i think for the + and - as one side is connected + and - then other side is + - then then - + and then you have two wires one on the + then one on - this should be my charging wires i am using a 12 volt old computer power supply as i have no plug in wire at all thank you for your inspiration of you video very cool brittany the chargerfor the computer is su pos to be 19v so my need to charge it for 2 hour

my friend gave me an old t42 to open up and learn more about laptops, but he didnt give me the charger.. I allreddy own a Compaq CQ56, but the charger is different. I need some charge so i can atleast work with the software and re-formatt it. But there's no charge in the battery.. and idea's?

@zakaryanhangist you can get pinout designs easy, Just google your battery pack model number, or even your laptop's modelel number then Pinout... click search IMAGES so you get a pinout instead of a website explaining what a pinout is.. :-)

my battry was working good but once i totly disgharge my laptop battry.....after discharging it is not charging again :(

@starwar786786 because you NEVER fully discharge a cadnium, lipo or lead acid battery or the voltage it normally charges at.

The odd thing is theyre not dead.. theyre taking to high a voltage to start it charging.

I wouldn't recomend it, we overvolt slightly until the battery is sitting at a chargeable voltage with the stardard recharger. In fact, dont do it unless you have a fully shielded cabinet. yes, its NOT an exact science.

@NoMoreKorasi battery is dead or something with it's connectors, or charging circuit. i cant help you further. borrow a battery from someone - if it fixes the problem buy a new battery or exchange cells.

these stupid "computer guys" everywhere really cannot do anything with hardware. That's just idiotic. They tell you to change motherboard because they can't even solder! One of them have told my friend that laptop is irrepairable and suggested new laptop. So i took it unscrewed it, i read in internet what can it be and where - cold solder joint, and resoldered the chip, That turned to be easier than any could think. Lapotop works better than before, for free...
