Listening to any songs by LIGHTS change my life everyday. But this song specifically stands out to me. LIGHTS has helped me through the most depressing, life-changing moments. I love her. Her music inspires me to live nicer, better and do the best I can. I wish people could appreciate amazing music, not for the melodies or music, but for the LYRICS. <3

I have had a pretty hard life when it comes to school. It's recently been getting worse since my water polo coach is abusing our team. I always stand up for the players when they are yelled at by him even though I'm scared of him. Lights is the only reason I can do that and wake up the next day feeling good about it. I have been out of the water for 2 weeks and I am more scared than anything to get back in but this song gives me the courage I need <3

I heard the chorus and started crying. I couldn't breathe at that moment but I didn't feel like I needed to. All my stress about school and my friends was shoved away and I fell into a pit of peace. It felt so good I couldn't stop bawling. That's the power of this song.

@NinjaMuffins4Life Nah. I think that lights is better off alone. I mean if you think about it, if anything, light's is inspirational and deep, while Owl City is really just bubbly and about being happy. It's not all about happiness, and I think that lights expresses that the most! She sings about how the world is so happy but sad. You have to keep your spirits high, but it's okay to let it out once in a while (: and don't be afraid to show your lights ^ ^
