monstorsity, una de las mejores bandas de death metal, la mejor q he visto tocar en vivo, banda que musicalmente me sirve de inspiracion para mis composiciones, este death metal extemo, tecnico y melodico, ha revolucionado en mundo del death
Lee is a great drummer, and a very nice person. I saw him back in 2001 for the first time, and I had the pleasure to take a couple drum tune up sessions with him and he's a class act.
One take and he got record this awesome track with surgically precision! When the drummers played for real and didn't let the work for the post production softwares. MANIIAAAAAAAAAACCC!
@TheIceTitan No one played two foot when I started blasting. Joe from Hellwitch was the first drummer I remember doing two foot blast and that was late 89-90. I prefer one foot blasts or bomb blasts
who the fuck doesn't like this???????? fuck the 4 people that dislike this song n this video this is the real death metal not the shit kids are trying to do now
Fisher fits Monstrosity for sure... But CC...NOPE! Maybe its a good thing he left though; at least monstrosity can still write good albums unlike most of the old Florida Vanguard.
Very uncluttered and precise and sounds and playing style. Kinda like the faster version of Neil Peart. There are other drummers like this: Chris Adler, Pete Sandoval, Gene Hoglan, the original guy from Fear Factory, etc. I'm a guitarist but I love watching drummers in action. Thanks for the upload. Keep rockin'!
One thing I always dug about Monstrosity was their riffing and playing... Jason Gobel added a lot to what they would eventually become me thinks. And Lee is still an awesome drummer today and all...
This your place Lee? Stormwinds!!! Man would be awesome to see some of those takes up here. If I have to pick one best of - its that or Fall of Eden.
Monstrosity Demo 94 was one of the best DM demo released- all time.
His sticks are way up, great timing, speed and feeling. Mr. Lee was on his top these days of Millenium. Kollias, Roddy, great, but this is how death metal should be played. With power, groove and the right feeling. Played with them some years ago in Germany. Speechless when I see this video! Back to the old days please! :o)
@RedOnChrome Its a little higher than usual here but if it was under the hihat it would be too far to reach from the toms etc. im used to it, normally its just above the hihat.
This is pure Drum greatness, that's why drums will always be,more superior then A drum machine, you can't catch this type of insane drums with a machine, plus it always sounds to robotic and lifeless, unlike real drums that has a free flowing motion to them, but am not saying don't use drum machines it's just,I prefer my bands having real drums not a machine/computer,doing all the work ,that's why you get in bands,to play instruments not machines you don't see a guitar or bass machine do you.
Wow this dude literally goes against all the advice I've ever heard for bass pedal set up etc haha. Insanely low stool height, looks like his bass drums are tuned very loose (not a huge deal) but look how loose his spring tension is!! And the beater angle! You can see the left beater swinging back crazy far! I have NO clue how he gets such speed playing like that! Very impressive!
@kevinlyonsfougere Hahaha, yeah lavoizen is right, you might need some sleep. George has been doing pretty good for himself since Monstrosity...and I sorta wish he was still in Monstrosity.
an amazing musician and drummer.....but he is underatted!thats sad :( but we live in the world where if you ask any young kid if he knows any death metal drummer?..he ll say yeah of course jOB For a cowboys drummer owns!.....
sorry but no he was around doing drum tracks before both of those guys were and he laid the foundation for joey jordison but travis barker just blows anyways so sorry dude no
For some reason i like corpsegrinder a lot better in this band. I mean obviously it was a better career move for him to join CC, but i think he could have made Monstrosity really big, but hey, who knows
u tried JB HIFI i remember i saw some of there cds there but that was ages ago i cant find them anywhere but if you go on there website it has all there cds u could try ordering them i guess
I agree. I can't believe it hasn't gotten more attention than it has. That of course also goes for Imperial Doom which in most humble my opinion is even better.
